A little about Reiki

Reiki was founded by “Mikao Usui (commonly Usui MIkao in Japanese) in 1865.
It is a practice used as a complementary therapy for the treatment of physical and emotional concerns.

Reiki is a non invasive, subtle energy that works with the higher self of the receiver (client).
The Reiki energy flows from the practitioners hands into the client.

What to expect during a Reiki Session

The client is layed on a massage table fully clothed with eyes closed.
The practitioner places her hands on or near the clients body in a series of hand positions.
Each hand position is held for approximately 3 to 10 minutes depending on how much Reiki the client needs at each area of the body. The whole session lasts between 45 – 60 minutes.

What you may experience during a Reiki Session

The experience of a Reiki Session varies somewhat from person to person.
However feelings of deep relaxation are usually felt by all.
Reiki promotes health & well being of the entire physical, emotional & psychic body.
